10 Days: Astro On The Go Party w. ChurpChurp & Nuffnang

For the most part this year, I have been attending events organized by Nuffnang. So it was quite a surprise to me that I managed to score invites from ChurpChurp for the first time in my life. And what a great event it was. Thanks to the blue birdy, I got to go rock out at the Astro On The Go party at The Pool.
 
Well, if you talk about poolside parties, this is it. The Pool is an awesome place which promises a pool party environment.

This is the first time I've been to a pool party, despite my condo's big swimming pool just downstairs. Somehow, it's not a party when you're alone. But with so many bloggers and Churpers attending as well, this was one of those parties which made sure I wouldn't be alone.

 So many people taking pictures with RedMummy and Beautiful Nara.

The dress code was 'your favorite football jersey' with the best dressed standing a chance of walking away with a brand new iPad. I didn't understand what they meant at first by best dressed in football jersey (because I'm really narrow minded and the best I could come up with was to wear my futsal gear.) But when I saw people like Rawlins, RedMummy and Mr TehTarik Memoirs, I finally understood. I also immediately knew that I would not be winning an iPad.

Hosted by Adam C, decked in a brilliant Spain jersey, the party kicked off with the world's first iPad synced 'flashmob'.

Wasn't exactly the best but you could see the image portrayed so close enough I guess.

There were also games. Ball juggling (get your mind out of the gutter), slogan screaming (we are beautiful like butterflies?), foosball (you never mess with KY in foosball. NEVER), flag hunting and creating a cheer for our home team (Italy because Spain and Germany were already snapped up). In the end, we got 3rd place, which wasn't too bad because we were wiped out by England in foosball. Really, lesson learnt. You never mess with KY in foosball.

I think it's also a premonition for tonight's match. England 5- Italy 2.

The remainder of the night was dedicated to the best dressed blogger, RedMummy. Funnily enough, she went dressed in the green of Germany. Get it? REDMummy but GREEN jersey?

Ha ha. Okay not funny. But congratulations Kak Red! Such a hardcore football fan. Another person worth mentioning is Shah aka Mr Teh Tarik Drinker. Holy smokes his Malaysian version of KISS was spot on.

Overall, a great night out with the blue bird and Stickman. But don't go away just yet! More pictures below.
